My name is Ramin Tafazzoli Mehrjardi (Student Member, IEEE), and I am a research assistant in "Advanced Power Electronics and Drive Systems Lab."
He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, in 2014 and an M.E. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, in 2017. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate at Texas A&M University. My expected graduation date is May 2023.
I joined the Advanced Power Electronics and Drive Systems Group at Texas A&M University in 2017. My research interests include designing motor drives, power electronics, hybrid and electric vehicles, wind energy, and sustainable energy production.
I have 10+ peer-reviewed publications (h-Index: 7) in reputable venues, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and IEEE Transactions on Proceedings (impact factor: 14.91). Furthermore, I have contributed to two book chapters on hybrid electric powertrains and hybrid energy storage systems for transportation applications.
